Sustainability & Heirloom Longevity
At Arka Design, genuine sustainability begins with permanence. We reject fast décor culture by crafting enduring solid brass artefacts designed to outlive trends and grace homes for generations.
Four Pillars of Our Environmental Mindset
We believe in factual transparency rather than exaggerated marketing claims. Here is how our materials and foundry methods uphold mindful craftsmanship.
Pure Metal Circularity
Brass is an elemental copper-zinc alloy that can be melted down and re-cast indefinitely without loss of structural strength or lustre. We never blend our brass with resin fillers or synthetic composites, keeping the material entirely circular.
The Antidote to Fast Décor
Millions of plastic and cheap resin accents end up in landfills every year. Solid brass does not chip into landfill waste; instead, it develops an antique patina over time and gains heirloom value with age.
Natural Foundry Materials
Our lost-wax and sand moulding processes rely heavily on natural clay, sand, and organic wax. Unlike synthetic resin casting that emits toxic chemical VOC fumes, traditional foundry casting remains connected to natural earthy mediums.
Responsible Transit Packaging
Protecting heavy solid brass during transit across India requires exceptional structural cushioning. We are progressively adopting high-density recyclable honeycomb cardboard and paper padding to safeguard your artwork with reduced plastic footprint.
